The Admit U College Acceptance Program Our mission has always been to help as many families as possible realize the amazing opportunities available for college. As a result, we have created a program for companies and schools that can be a wonderful benefit for 8th-12th grade families. Click here or the box below to see a demonstration! Features of Program #1. Live Workshops Families can attend live workshops hosted at our member companies and schools for 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grades. By providing timely information and allowing for questions, we help parents and students get involved and educated early. We can also broadcast these workshops live to satellite offices and archive them for families to view anytime.
#2. Live Monthly Q&A Teleseminars Families can call in and listen to a discussion on different topics relating to preparing and applying to college, specific to their child’s grade level and relevant to certain times of the year. They can then ask individual questions that founder Danny Ruderman will answer for the benefit of all attendees. In other words, parents of 9th graders may call in on a Saturday to hear about “How to Choose the Right Freshmen Schedule,” while parents of 11th graders might call in the next week to hear about “What to Do on a College Visit.”
#3. Yearly To-Do Lists and Timelines Each family will be able to go to the website, choose their child’s grade level, and have a menu of simple options designed to give them the right information at the right time. This eliminates stress and confusion. One option is to download a yearly to-do list and timeline that both explains everything that needs to be done and has links to the relevant Webcasts, so parents and students can learn more about a topic.
#4. E-mail Reminder Service Families can sign up for a free weekly e-mail service, in which they will begin to receive weekly reminders and to-do lists to help them keep organized and on top of things! We have also made these grade-specific. For example, a ninth grade family will get helpful tips designed for freshmen year.
#5. Online “Webcast” Tutorials
The Program offers parents and students hours of
comprehensive, step-by-step coaching through the
college admissions process, delivered in interactive
multimedia tutorials called Webcasts.
If our program is something that interests you, we would be happy to meet you in person, as well as provide a free account to our online program. Please feel free to contact our Program Coordinator, Molly Johnston, at 866-YOU-CAN-GET-IN or at molly@youcangetin.com with any questions you may have.
