So Just Who Are We?

Danny RudermanYouCanGetIn.com is the brainchild of college counselor and author, Danny Ruderman. After helping thousands of students find and get into colleges that truly matched their interests, Danny wrote his book, The Ultimate College Acceptance System, which was published in July, 2006 by St. Martin's Press. After hearing great feedback from counselors, teachers, parents, and students all over the country, Danny decided to create a single resource that took the information and humor from his book and add to it everything he did when coaching his private, one-on-one students.

Danny Ruderman started his parent company, Admit U Inc., in 1997 as a tutoring, test preparation and college admission counseling enterprise. He also travels the country speaking to families at different schools, companies, and at PTA events.

Danny graduated with Honors from Stanford University and holds a BA in Human Biology with an emphasis in Education. In 1996, he was named a Merit Teacher for his work at Campbell Hall School in Los Angeles. Danny has worked as an educational therapist for K&M Associates in Los Angeles and as a standardized test instructor for Ivy West. He is also a member of the Western Association of College Admissions Counselors (WACAC). He has been featured on a variety of television and radio programs, as well as in periodicals such as NPR's Marketplace, Fox News, The Los Angeles Times, Barry Kibrick's Between the Lines on PBS, College Bound Magazine, The Bill Handel Show, and Powernomics. Danny is also a regular contributor to Money 101 on KNX 1070 in Los Angeles.
